Brenda Ratzeburg

“Brenda Ratzeburg was highly recommended to me 12 years ago by our top pharmacist in the Krugersdorp area. Brenda from the start has been most impressive and professional, carefully assessing the problem areas and providing 360 degree holistic solutions and treatments.  She is a woman of high integrity, unbelievable knowledge, very personable and explains very comprehensively what type of treatment is required, and what exercises should be done between treatment sessions.
She is the best practitioner that I have ever been to who is gentle, understanding and empathetic to any pain experienced.  She doesn’t ‘force’ any manipulations like other therapists I have experienced, and she is very practical and realistic about the number of treatments, and the spacing out of treatments.
I am devastated that she is leaving to move to Scotland.  It is definitely our loss, and Scotland’s gain.  She will be sorely missed”

“I am not an individual that is easily inclined to visit a doctor even less so someone that is going to manipulate my body.  As I have got older I was enduring pain and discomfort daily. This has been aggravated by years of travelling and more recently I spend way too much time on my laptop and cell phone for primarily work. This has resulted in frequent spasm followed by daily neck and shoulder pain. The only person that I have trusted and found to give me the relief I require is Brenda Ratzeburg. She is entirely familiar with my aches and pains and always finds a way to get me going again, via appropriate treatment and ongoing guidance.  Her knowledge and techniques have quite honestly been the difference between me completely losing my mobility and me being able to lead a relatively pain free life.  My loss is your gain.”

Brenda grew up in Johannesburg and became interested in the physical therapy aspects of medicine from a young age, influencing her decision to pursue this career as a Chiropractor.

She obtained her Master’s Degree in Chiropractic from the University of Johannesburg in 2006 and ran her own practice in South Africa before moving here to CHC.

Prior to this Brenda worked as an associate within a hospital-based practice with a mentor for 4 years which expanded her knowledge and experience. During this time, she participated in chiropractic technique workshops and a specialised dissection course to further understand spinal anatomy.
